The Humble Beginnings
From a young age, growing up with parents working in hospitality, brothers Zachary and Caleb Rook knew first hand how important it was to put in the extra effort to see their customers happy, satisfied and taken care of. Striving for excellence has been the priority from day one.
The motivation to create a high quality moving company first sparked after the brothers aunt Ruth moved from Adelaide to Tasmania in 2004. After paying a large upfront fee, the items were loaded and taken away. Alarm bells rang for Ruth when 24 hours after the agreed drop-off time, the removalists had not appeared. Ruth contacted the police, and after 4 days of investigation she discovered that the company was not a real company and the insurance would not cover anything. Distraught and demoralised, Ruth never recovered her precious belongings. The shock resounded through the whole family and Zachary began extensive research into the industry. The discoveries of regular malpractice and theft where shocking.
While studying his degree in business and marketing, Zachary constantly came back to the fundamental questions that would not rest in his mind- is there an opportunity and/or a need to do things better? Are customers, and people being taken advantage of? Are they being misinformed? Can we add real value for money and take the stress away from a really tiresome day?
The Mission
From the first urge to begin a removal company, Zachary and Caleb wanted to get the formula right first time.

The brothers handpicked and grew their team, empowering the individuals they chose to build the family company that operates today.
