The initial phone consultation: Let our staff how to save time and money and can suggest any extra ways that may help the process run more smoothly and cost-effectively
We don't employ call centre people, so when you call us you'll be speaking to a trained staff member who not only knows what they're talking about but also understands what you'll be going through on moving day.
Their job is to sort out exactly what you need so that you'll have a clear and concise idea of how to best prepare for your move, what things may cause issues on the move day and how to solve those issues should they arise.
Our staff will advise you on how to save time and money and can suggest any extra ways that may help the process run more smoothly and cost-effectively. For example, if they know you are in an apartment with stair access only, they will advise that an extra person be put on the team. That's because with a third removalist, your move will cost the same amount and take less time!

Booking the move: Having the peace of mind that the price we say we charge we do charge - no surprises
Our phone consultants will take all your contact details including mobile phone numbers in case the phone has been cut off on the day, as well as phone numbers of alternative contacts in case of emergencies.
They'll confirm any special tricks for getting into the properties like security doors, or a hidden entrance. You'll get a general idea of travel time between the two addresses and then they'll tell you everything that's included in the service-what you can expect to get charged for and what's included.

Moving Out - Your move does not have to be stressful - let our team leader take control so we can run a smooth move for you
On the day, the Team Leader and the team arrive.
Your team leader is your point of contact for the whole move; they're the one to speak to if you need something disassembled or any details changed. They'll do a quick inspection of your property to see what's in your home and the best way to get it out. They will check if anything needs special consideration, such as a family heirloom or piece of antique furniture.
We'll even take the fridge later on in the move so you won't have defrosted food all over the place! After explaining to you what's going to happen and when, our team will begin taking things apart so it will all fit in the truck easily and safely. If there is anything you want to move yourself, we'll put somewhere separately so that it won't get in the way of the team, thus fulfilling our OH&S requirements.
We will also pull apart all electronic equipment like televisions, computers etc., so that they can be packed properly and be put back together easily at the other end. Protection of all your worldly goods is paramount.
If you have decided beforehand on helping with the process, we'll let you know what's going on first and where and how you can best help us. We can direct you as to the most helpful things you can do. And even if you're letting us do it all, you'll know what the plan is. We can advise on the best place in the house for you be or where not to be, especially the kids and the pets!

Moving In-The Gold Service
We unload the truck back to front and so we even put your fridge in first so it stays cold! We put the beds back together at the end of the move for you, hang paintings and put everything back the way you'd like it. All you have to do is sit down, put your feet up and enjoy your new home!

Moving In-The Silver Service
If you don't want the Gold Service, we can put everything in a particular central location and just move the heavy things into place and then you can do the rest in your own time. It's entirely up to you. We can even do a bit of both! So if you have a painting that needs to be hung particularly high, we can hang it for you and leave everything else-you do exactly what you want, so you're in control of the cost. That's why we do it at an hourly rate! You're in control of everything.
